A beautiful wedding for an amazing couple. The ceremony and reception were held outdoors at Hidden Falls Park in Saint Paul on the hottest, most humid day of the year. The rain and predicted thunderstorms held off and everyone had a wonderful time.
Pablo’s stunning bride.
We were stopping traffic with this series of middle-of-the-road shots.
What wedding-day jitters? Looking pretty cool and collected before the ceremony.
Off to find the hidden falls!
Those are some good looking guys.
I believe this was the “put a ring on it” pose. Love the flower girl getting into it.
An outstanding toast that brought down the house with laughter.
Not to be outdone, the best man delivered an incredibly funny toast of his own. I love the head table’s reaction here.
Dancing just before the tornado sirens sounded.
And a ring shot as the night ended.
My Linh and Pablo, it was an honor to photograph your wedding. I wish you a wonderful marriage.
My Linh and Pablo’s wedding was amazing and I have a ton of great pictures to post here. For now, I’ll leave you with this one picture, already one of my all-time favorites.

Beautiful picture! Congratulations to you both! I cant wait to see more pics!

A couple weeks ago, Abbey and I tied the knot in her hometown of Yankton, SD. It was a beautiful, amazing, emotional weekend. I only wish it could have lasted longer.
Our photographer was the incredible Rod Evans. Sorry South Dakotans, he doesn’t normally shoot weddings. Here is my favorite image of the day:

I took a road trip to Iowa to photograph the wedding of an amazing couple, Laura and Troy. The wedding took place in the very small town of Hospers and had all the charm of a small-town wedding.
Laura and Troy found a beautiful grove of trees that served as a perfect setting for some pre-wedding portraits. I love the powerful look that Laura gives here.
Troy eventually did bring Laura back. :)
A beautiful bride by a beautiful window.
Love this real moment.
Laura’s mirror was a wedding-day gift from Troy.
The couple was covered by dried flower petals. And so was I in order to get this shot.
I love these real emotions.
A proud moment for Laura’s father.
Time to celebrate!

Eric, you really have a gift for what you do. Everytime I look at a set of pictures you take I am blow away at how well you capture the moment. It seems as though you catch everything just as it was meant to be, you give people something they can cherish everyday and forever thats just so natural and beautiful. I hope you never stop doing what makes you happy, because what makes you happy makes the people you are shooting for very happy:)

On Friday I had the good fortune to photograph the wedding of Garth and Janae. The wedding was held in a beautiful mansion in Canton, SD. It was a very intimate ceremony - there were fewer than 30 guests.

Yes, Janae looked this happy all day. Lots of laughing with the maid of honor.

The first look was an incredibly powerful moment.

I absolutely love this duo: the serious and joyful expressions.

Beautiful bouquet and veil catching the breeze.

This mansion was a dream to photograph.

Garth's vows provided a few lighthearted moments.

Then the limo broke down and we had to walk to the reception... kidding.

Smiles from the grandparents.

Eric - Wonderful work as always. If the day does indeed come for me to participate in the above, you are my guy. Thanks for sharing these awesome pics!
(04.13.09)Masterful work. The tone and feeling is really amazing. There's a character and personality in these photographs that all too often goes missing from run-of-the-mill wedding snapshots. What a beautiful way to preserve the memory of their day.
(04.13.09)Hey Eric, these are beautiful! It looks like you captured the moment beautifully! I love the outside black and white ones. Great Job!
(04.13.09)Wow! These are great! I love all the candid shots. Can't wait for you to shoot my wedding!
(04.13.09)All I can say is amazing!
(04.15.09)Eric, The photos made me cry, you see, Janae is my dear niece and I was unable to be in SD. Thank you for the incredible way you captured the love between these two amazing individuals. The house made a beautiful setting for the celebration. The outside shots are equally breath taking. I am very thankful you were the photographer! Peace, Aunt Chris
(04.19.09)Garth and Janae have been my friends for many years and they have such a special bond. You capture that in these photos. They are absolutely beautiful and are totally what Garth and Janae deserve to remember their day.
